Going to school after bimax

I had bimax surgery and genioplasty 2 weeks ago and i'll have to go to school in 2 days. Many people from my grade know that i got bimax because the "news" spread when i skipped school. The surgery went pretty good and it should be a decent ascend once the bloat is gone (3 months from now).

Problem is: many people probably think i'm a chadlite now, cause if you tell a normie someone got a 20k aesthetic surgery to fix the jaws they think that this peron has to be a model after.

I descended actually quite a bit due to postsurgical swelling. It's a bad situation i know, but it's just temporary so do yall have any tips or sum?

It’s not that deep, just tell people you have swelling.

Use otc pain relievers.

I don’t even count this surgery as cosmetic, it’s what you were supposed to look like if you didn’t get fucked with malnutrition and bad oral habits; anyone who assumes it’s a cosmetic surgery is retarded.

Being swollen/bloated isn’t horrible, I’d rather be bloated/swollen to the core with ideal bones then be debloated and deformed.

What were the movements? Did you have CW or CCW? Feel free to PM me because I’m getting double jaw, genio, and CCW rotation soon.

i had a minimal cw because i had short face syndrome. My mandible is still retrognahic but it's not my surgeons fault, i had a perfect occlusion but my maxilla wasn't as recessed as my mandible, the genioplasty saved tho. My convexity and other angles are far better but still not ideal, i'm happy tho.

Problem is, that i descended due to the bloat, i look worse than before my bimax rn

@DrDrKater Did he not scan your growth plates? I’m 20 and my surgeon refused to to anything before growth plate scans.

If you have a late growth spurt even and inch or so it could have severe consequences.

he's a very trusted and well known surgeon in germany, he said, that only with the usage of old techniques it's a problem to perform the surgery before the closing of growth plates, we'll see what'll happen.
I'm very scared abt the school situation tho, any tips´?

Holy shit this wasn’t a custom double jaw surgery?

Speak to you’re school about the concerns, you might be able to get accommodations for this, like an extra week + excused absences when the swelling is bad.

yes it was. it was 3d planned too, but as you said my pogonion may grow 1mm longer on the sagittal plane, it isn't finished growing yet

High IQ, but it's not like he's gonna get a superior jawline through puberty if it's already recessed this close to adulthood. At the ripe age of 17, it's almost the best time to get bimax, because youth means you heal faster.

the swelling is not that bad, i look like a normal guy that hasnt slept for 2 days and ate lots of sugar and salt. It's worse because some people may think, that i actually descended
 
Why you telling everyone that you've gotten bimax surgery for aestethics in the first place? I'm planning it too and I'm currently undergoing orthodontics in preperation for it. Also I'm keeping quite about it to prevent shit like 'Bro spent 20k on a surgery and looks the fucking same AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 🤣🫵'

I mean did u tell them it was just for aestethic purposes? If not, just larp that you needed it for ur skeletal overbite that was causing problems and ur still swollen rn. Btw. I've seen your results and imo you look visibly better now, so don't worry too much 👍
