Cba to format I’m just ranting so I don’t care if everyone else DNRs this
I hate talking to people and having them see my ugly face. Whenever my parents buy clothes for me, they always talk about the price which has guilt tripped me into buying the bare minimum to wear. I’ve been wearing the same ugly ass jeans and jacket for weeks now, which makes me look like some autistic sperg and wrecked my social confidence. I’m fucking finished atp. If I manage to get the lifeguard job I’ve been working towards over the summer, I’ll probably spend most of the money I get on looksmaxxing and fashionable clothes. I can’t really blame my parents for obsessing over the price but once I come back to school in September (I’m still in school rn, ends around July) I’m going to present myself as a completely different person to everyone I meet. I still resent my parents immensely for not giving two fucks about how other people see me, I had to literally badger and beg for 6+ years just to get them to get me braces and fix my overbite because apparently my grandma and mom think I look handsome so I don’t need to worry about my appearance? (They genuinely believe this btw) What a bunch of asshole losers. I don’t think I’ve ever hated anyone more in my life than my parents, even though I know they mean well. It’s genuinely enraging how much they’ve directly fucked my social life and confidence. JFL at the fact that they spend their money on getting me therapy and other nonsense while letting me rot away. I hate them so much.
