Im going into my junior year of high school and I play year round school sports which means an hour and a half practice every single day basically for the whole year because of that I naturally have a solid base physique but I want to know how to hit the gym while being so active and no my teams do not use the school gym I prioritize growing over sports but at the same time I don’t want to over work myself and kill my gains

Gymcelling over sports for sure. It is very unlikely that you will become a pro or even a D1 athlete. However it is somewhat likely that if you have a good base physique, you can build it until you are within the top 30%-10%. Training for aesthetics is a much higher ROI then just being one member of your high school sports team.

I definitely agree with you and while I know I’m not going D1 I’m still good enough that my parents would be pissed if I quit and I want to have year round sports on my resume so how do I train and stay so active without nuking my test and also getting shit sleep

Maybe you can convince your coaches to let you spend a few days out of the week in the gym instead of participating in practice. Maybe you can work out some other type of arrangement that allows you to train and go to practice. If it really comes down to it I would advise you to pick working out over team practices, but simultaneously I would encourage you to make the decision that is best for you. Good luck to you though. Alright, I think I’m just going to go low effort some days and do short heavy lifts when I get home but thanks for the advice bro👍
