Going to university is the biggest scam ever

I feel scammed and lied to, I studied hard at school and always did the work. The other boys in class all messed about, failed their GCSEs and ended up working in trades. They all make more or less the same as me, live a relatively stress free life - the work is physically tiring though. But they get that relief that once the work is done, they can switch off. I don't really have that luxury, I'm always on alert for work, always stressed, and for what? I will get decent pay next year sure, and probably make above avg quite easily. But is it really worth it?

I know for a fact, after this year when I get my qualification I am doing something else. Uni is such a scam, esp if you study STEM. STEM is only worth it if you are working for a private company e.g. working for a bank or engineering firm. Working in a lab is a guranteed route to poverty, you will still be poor jfl. Expect your salary to be something along the lines of £12/hr at max.

Pay off your debt then do a couple years to make enough money for yourself to start something of your own. Then dip out.
