my thoughts:
for the comedy/musical catgeory, its an EASY win for May December, the movie has been having insane hype all around award season. its so good that Netflix still HASNT released the film in some countries on the netflix platform to build hype.
if May December doesn't win, then either Barbie or Air.

drama nominations are insane this year, Anatomy of a Fall is A FRENCH FILM and its the most buzzed movie everywhere among film circles. legit insane. and the 2nd biggest buzzing movie is ALSO on the nominations, as well being the BRITISH entry for the International Oscar Award, The Zone of interest. The movie language is german/polish and is centered around auschwitz.

these 2 movies are super hyped in the film circles, and along with that we have Scorsese's career best Masterpiece Killers of the Flower Moon at play here, and not to mention Oppenheimer, and Maestro (directed by and starring bradley cooper, produced by the hollywood elite names). and to put these insane nominations with a cherry on top, we have Past Lives from A24, which has been making a lot of noise ever since its trailer came out, and even more since it released. we'll have to see

exciting nominations for drama category.

my ultimate prediction: Oppenheimer/Killers of The Flower Moon
