I been on fin for a few years now and noticed little more thinning. (I'm only 22). but fin only blocks type II 5AR

"Type I 5AR is the principle isoenzyme found in sebaceous glands, sweat glands, and the scalp, whereas type II 5AR is present in hair follicles and the prostate."

Type 1 5AR seems very relevant to me because my scalp seems inflamed and itchy sometimes which I believe is the root of my hairloss. When I went on accutane which minimized my sebaceous and sweat glans, my hair was amazing. then a few months off of it and it is worse

I feel like it would make more sense to use RU58841 on top of fin instead of dut. Because dutasteride does nothing to the testosterone on the scalp, which is less harmful than DHT but can still do quite a bit of damage. RU58841 will block the remaining 30% of DHT left over as well as the subsequent spike in testosterone.

It is, as a stand alone treatment done on macaque monkeys it out performed finasteride.

Honestly get the hell away from those forums. They are sick in the head and wants you to go bald as well. They say stuff like "fin ruined my eyesight" and "RU caused my anus to go numb".

But are the sources legit too? RU is quite expensive, I don’t want to spend $150 for 3 months supply of rat piss, ya know.

That is a very valid concern. I used to get mine from anagenic but from now on I will try the ones on Alibaba (I will buy from one of the big companies like Xi'an). Tbh RU is not super hard to make compared to HGH or testosterone, and people on this site have gotten good results from Alibaba HGH and testosterone, or so they claim. So I trust my fellow Chinese chemists.

If you are on minox+fin no need to use RU. Its debated on hairloss forums bc the side effect profile is unknown.

Yeah I’ve heard about guys getting heart palpitations and shit but, there are alot of crazy people on the internet and hairloss forums are full of mentally ill people who are very biased.

Yeah, 3rd month rn. It has been pretty good, I lose less than 5 hairs per shower when I count. From reading stuff written by bro-scientists, a PG/Ethanol solution will work better than min. Because your scalp can only absorb a certain amount of topicals at once. Minoxidil is already a pretty big molecule (209.251 g/mol), and dissolving RU58841 (also pretty big molecule 369.34g/mol) will make it hard for the scalp to absorb both the min and RU at once. Dissolving it in min will yield results for sure, but in theory a RU and min should be applied separately for the most optimal absorption.
