gonna get a perm now, if it looks shit im gonna kms and its all @loakzie fault

I had my hair permed 4 times during the last 2 years and it really fucks up my scalp

I got seb derm so it was devastating to my scalp

My hair thickness doesnt really get affected tbh, i naturally have asian thick straight hair

There are 2 possible scenarios , i could either look like this

As an ex gimpy perm getter for 2 years I feel qualified to say you’ll be fine. I mean I have a great thick head of hair and haven’t noticed any hair loss with perms. Don’t wash it for the first 72 hours, take care of your hair with actual good conditioners and curl creams and you’ll be good. You’ll probably hate it for the first week or two but it’ll get better, just get big rods so you don’t have afro hair.

as long as u got thick hair, u wont get noodle looking hair dont worry
also for a decent perm just make sure ur hair is 6+ inches before perming

I got pink/purple rods but my hair was like 7-8 inches long when I got one so it’s not too tight and I’d just slick it till it grew out a bit if it was. Ask for a loose perm make sure he uses at least the dark blue rods. I mean use your initiative if you think they’ll be too tight tell him go up in rod size.

in terms of damage to your hair, if damage occurs it wont be permeant, the new hair that grows will be healthy. But you have quite thick hair anyways so i dont think it would mess up your hair etc. And the most important thing to ensure it stays healthy when you get the perm is treat your hair how a wavy / curly head would. Use the correct products etc. Ive had perm before, it looked good but i didnt take the greatest care of it, but tbf my hair was still great. Im currently growing mine out m hair again to get another perm. This time ill make sure i use all the right products to make my hair the best it can be looks and health wise.

NOOO PAL DONT GET A PERM, I was exactly in your place just start wearing caps at home and headbands that pull your hair back also use sea salt spray and wash your hair once 3 or 4 days with shampoo

Perm looks fake af I always laugh at kids with perms looks like shit because their sides are straight but the top looks like someone shit them out 😂😂😂

Also only wash your hair once a week after getting the perm, use shampoo and conditioner, try to get natural products, its essential for healthy hair. Then experiment with curl creams, leave ins, moose's etc. Once you get the perm, to see what looks best for styling.

if you get a broccoli head perm your just an idiot (only hair on top gets permed). but it seems all the kids do 😭

I mean that’s the plan my sides are already grown out not that much tho that’s why my gay ass barber sent me home but maybe it was the Blackpill angel @loakzie himself who made him do that :ogre:
