Gonna withdraw my police application tbh

Passed online assessment and have a final assessment in 3 weeks

But I don't wanna do the job. The only reason I applied is cos I didn't know what else to do and the starting pay is good

But shift work, commuting every day, and just the job itself means the pay isn't really worth it

I was complaining about my current post room job before, but now it's actually chill, and I wouldn't wanna trade something like that for being in the police

The only reason I didn't withdraw earlier is cos of my mum, but I've told her I'm withdrawing

i would use it to train for and understand crime, then segue into fully exploiting the legal system for personal gain. once society crumbles inevitably, having this level of connection and access would prove useful.
