Unpopular opinion, I have seen neg canthal tilt work for some people and positive is not always attractive. No one wants slanty eyes. Some actors who are considered handsome have neg canthal tilt.

Eye area has more to do with eye shape that fits the frame of the face and is human looking. High trust face is usually not unattractive.
