Not good, they are incompetent, undefined and their size comes from cranial dystrophy and lack of support rather than genes, similar to the west has fallen meme

The issue is one side of your face is significantly more developed than the other which makes your lips in particular look asymmetrical. I used to have that issue but it's better now.

i reserchead that Word on the internet and youre actually right cause i have downgrown maxilla and recessed chin but i thought my lips looked pretty good do you have any tips

Most important one is fixing posture imbalances, particularly in the neck and spine, watch YT vids on it.

Secondly, not sleeping on one side (I use to do it every night and it fucked my up). Sleep on back if you can.

And thirdly, mewing evenly, which is kinda linked to my first point about posture. More pressure on one side means you will be asymmetrical and have an underdeveloped side.

I barely know and researched about surgeries so I don't have much to say except that I was a chronic mouthbreather and once I hit puberty my lips started to look like that (I had braces too), then after mewing/keeping the mouth closed most of the time since 14 they started to look better. They are still somewhat incompetent and it's noticeable when talking/eating but better than before. I also started having teeth in contact at rest purposefully without engaging facial muscles, I think this has also helped me. So even if it sounds like a meme, try to focus on not letting your mouth get opened during the day. If you can't keep it closed then I would say you need medical help since that's a case of lip incompetence.

I'm also pretty sure that by fixing recession and therefore having more support for the lips, it would improve. But I can't say the exact procedures someone would need

I was a mouthbreather too and i did same thing as you from like 1 year and and half from now i focused on keeping my mouth closed, I can close It but when i talk i see something strange but it's more the upper teeth that are protruding i think. Anyway do you think they look bad/bit of uncanny or Just that they're caused by recession

I have braces now so maybe it's that also that makes them look that way cause i Remember before they looked a bit different idk if Better tho

It's really common in those mouthbreathing faces you see in the clinic photopgraphs before doing procedures, and also in people who got braces.

Most people have told you they look good, but I don't share it. Now that you said your upper teeth protrude + you have mentioned your side profile a few times I think it's clear that their look is linked to your facial development.

Still not too bad or anything like that, just that a person obsessed with some little details like me notices it and points it out.

Oh makes sense, they don't allow you to have a tight lip seal. Braces don't necessarily cause this, but some people get problems with it. I remember reading the-great-work.org threads about this exact topic.

The lips may look again similiar as how they were once the braces are taken off, I don't know.

I wouldn't do it, you will most likely regret it in the future even though the probabilities of something happening are minimal. You should already know more or less about your facial features and rating, an user rating will be more likely to be less accurate than yours since he only gets to see a couple of pictures which are not close to showing your face in every angle and lighting possible, which is what matters in reality.

yh i wont post it here, but u know it's harder to rate yourself cause u don't know exactly how people see u. Anyway i've Always got rated in the MTN-HTN territory but i don't know how much my side profile holds me back, if it holds me back. cause it's like a low LTN side and It looks different in Every light

I use a small mirror along a big main one, this way I see a 360° view in that particular lighting and space. How you look to other people is a little bit more complex, you would need to also know how you look at certain distances, close view is not the only thing that matters. I guess videos and pictures are goos ways to discover this but I feel that there's a tendency to look worse in them than in real life.
