And vice versa?
I often wondered this, but I seen a lot of very attractive people and their parents are not all that great, and I realize they are probably "old" and such, but you can see their younger years, and they are mostly average. Then you have extremely good looking couples. You'd think all their children would be beautiful too, but apparently genetics don't work that way. As for me, my parents were above average in looks, and I turned out the way I did.
This is what AI says about it:
Why Average Parents Produce Striking Children
Gene Reshuffling: Parents pass down a random half of their DNA.New Combinations: Two average parents can pass on a specific, lucky mix.Feature Alignment: This new mix can create highly symmetrical facial features. The "Averageness"
Paradox: Evolutionary biology shows humans find "average" faces highly attractive.Mathematical Median: "Average" in biology means the exact middle of all population traits.
High Symmetry: Faces closest to this population mathematical median are highly symmetrical.
Hidden Potential: Average parents carry a massive pool of unexpressed genetic variations.Random Jackpot: When these variations recombine, they can create a stunning visual result. The Role of Non-Additive Genetics
Epistasis: Genes interact with each other in complex, unpredictable ways.Unpredictable Traits: One gene can mask or amplify the effect of another.Unique Results: A child's look is not just a simple blend of parents.One-Time Hits: Exceptional attractiveness is often a non-repeatable genetic combo.Environmental Factors Matter
Epigenetics: Lifestyle and environment change how genes express themselves.Health and Nutrition: Proper development allows genetic symmetry to thrive completely.I
