Looking for something thats gonna help me stay hydrated or whatever while im on accutane(starting in like 2 weeks). I prefer no oxybenzone or carcinogenic stuff but if thats what is needed to have the best result its fine too.

Pls help

I checked the ingredients list on pore clogging ingredients checker and it does have 1. Just be wary of that but it should be fine. I always put very product I use through this website and it seems to help alot https://acneclinicnyc.com/pore-clogging-ingredients/
does it have carcinogens and/or oxybenzone in it, and does it even matter
A comodogenic ingridient is obviously unideal but it wont be noticeable on accutane and its ability to protect you for the entire day still makes it the obvious option as sun damage is rhe number 1 reason for ageing and most only pritect you from 2-4h and then has to be reapplied which most wont do

For sure 10 hours is pretty op stuff. And yeah if you are already on accutane I don't think comodogenic ingredient really matters as it eviscerates any chance of getting ancne. I lowkey fucked myself over getting a super clean ingredient mineral sunscreen that leaves an awful white cast so now I don't even want to wear it jfl

It’s good but too shiny IMO.

I just use that one for the summer for my body, whenever I’m going to the beach or doing sports outside when I’m sweating.

It’s so waterproof and stays on like no other sunscreen I’ve ever tried.

And trust me, I’ve tried soooo many.

I would recommend OP to just use a Korean one during the winter tbh. The only period where the UV index could be harmful is during 11am-3pm during the winter.

And a korean one can last that long no problem while looking like you have nothing on.

Just layer it so very thin layers and let them dry and after 2-3mins apply a new layer and just rub it in like 20sec longer than you usually would

Real thick sunscreens have became invisible when ive done this

How does it compare to La Roche -Posay Invisible?
Like all lfp products it looks great when its on skin and p20 will be thick hut thats also the reason for it protecting 2,5-5× longer than lfp and almost all other sunscreens

So lfp invisible is a great sunscreen but youre still stuck with that impractical part of having to reapply once or twice during the day for full protection

Never heard of this, interesting. Will try 👍🏻

I don’t think this is important in winter. The only trouble times are 11pm-3pm. After that UV index is almost always =<1, and not even sunscreen is needed.

But the problem is you might leave your house at 7-8am so most of the protection gone by 2 or 3 pm, your still obviously mostly protected and avoid the vast amount of sundamage as youre still a bit protected even though its past the recommended time but still easy to make the switch so you avoid those extra few % of uv damage

Imo yes, even if its a bit thick, its only a slight mog in winter assuming you live in a somewhat north and dark place but significant mog in the summer

Why would I reapply it?

If you live in australia keep it year round as australia is the global capital of melanoma and agepill victims

Its not really necessary as accutane will already do the job of a cleanser as well, water should suffice
