Good or bad idea to dye eyebrows after minox?

My friend maxxed his brows for 2 years with minox and got them cut to be positively titled but he was a blonde which was holding his brows back. This was because even though they looked really good and full you still couldn't really see them especially in the sun. He decided to remedy this problem by getting his hair and brows dyed dark brown but after he got home from the salon his skin had a horrible reaction and his brows swelled up and was red for a week.

He now says its pretty much back to normal but it has not been that long so who knows if that did lasting damage and I can't have that happen to me cuz im not NEET. He stopped minox 24 hours before the salon and everything Ive read online says hair dye should not effect minox at all and that its safe to do. Any high IQ bros know why this could happen?

thickest skin on the body

probably had a reaction as well but because the skin on the face is much thinner and more sensitive, it was a much lighter reaction

also idk about u but i can barely see my scalp through my hair so doubt be wouldve seen anything
