Good Vs Evil is just a coping mechanism for losers

Was going to put this into the blackpill category but I changed it to redpill since you can actually choose not to be 'good'.

I was inspired to make this thread after TFM raised an interesting point in his recent podcast about how 'goodness' is depicted in most popular fiction. His argument was that the notion of 'good' is merely a socialist conspiracy (he's a libertarian) whose purpose is to condition people into being slaves to the weak. He used superheroes as an example: They are literally demi-gods by normie standards, but instead of using their power for themselves, they instead use it for 'good' by serving the masses. The idea being: Good = works for the benefit of everyone/protects the weak.

So basically:

Good = Uses power to serve the collective (aka socialism)
Evil: Uses power to serve oneself (aka individualism)

Basically, superheroes are just cucks that fail to live up to their potential because they're too busy shilling out for normies.

It's an interesting point and I agree with it. Good and evil are just a cope for normies/losers/bottom feeders/etc.

Supervillains are based and redpilled.

People (pretend) to be socialists when they think they can get value out of it. It's always self-interest.

Helping a person in need can be an extremely high reward/low effort way of getting social validation, and many people are slaves to validation.

human beings are extremely advanced social creatures who manage to thrive solely due to that fact. There’s no need to come up with conspiracy theories for why everybody agrees that doing what’s best for the masses is objectively good. Socialism has nothing to do with it, blame the fact that species’ want to survive and thrive.

Human beings are also naturally very selfish though because sexual selection is generally very competitive, so there’s always that guilt that comes from choosing between what’s best for society and what’s best for yourself, probably why a lot of religion is centered around that battle tbh
