What is good? — Everything that heightens the feeling of power in man, the will to power, power itself.
What is evil? — Everything that stems from weakness.
What is happiness? — The feeling of growing power, the feeling of resistance being overcome.
Not contentment, but the striving for power; not peace in general, but war; not virtue, but the fullness of one’s powers (virtue in the Renaissance sense—*virtù*—virtue free of moralizing).
The weak and the failures must perish: the first principle of our love for humanity. And one should even help them to do so.
What is more harmful than any vice? — Active pity for all the failures and the weak—Christianity.
