Since my mandible has been moving forward with orthodontics, my hearing has become better since my ear canal is less blocked but the sounds also feel more intense, almost like the early onset of mdma.
Since I had my palate expanded and my nasal cavity became larger, when I breathe in I can now feel the air flowing into my body, whereas before it felt like it was trying to force it's way in

These 2 minor changes have made a big improvement and when my maxilla is moved forward things should improve even more
Goodlooking people who have large airways and no recessed bones hindering any sensory functions literally get to enjoy the world in a more intense way than you do
That is before we get into the fact they get opportunities to do better things than you do
Simply sitting on the grass listening to someone banging a bongo drum feels like a much more intense and pleasurable experience to them than it does to you

Ever heard of the term "placebo effect"?
Sure some of these absolutely could be connected to your orthodontic treatment, but some aren't.
