The word gook is kind of vulgar sounding and has a boring history ["goo-goo" to mock filipino language, turning into gook to mock any darker east asian]

I like chink because it's funny, a chink is a small blemish in something [a door, a wall, armour] just big enough to let light pass through
you call them chinks to make the joke that their eyes are chinks in their face

But gook, it's so boring and weird sounding
