gore dreams (not nightmares)

does anyone ever dreamed of gore? if you had is it more like a nightmare or a casual dream?

well mine was more like a casual dream, what happened was that I was cutting of my own head by my self and there was a huge saw and gores everywhere I even saw my own head it's not the scenario where I'm cutting of my own head from another person perspective, it was more like grinding and rubbing on a huge saw until my head chops off, I got up and saw my own head somehow then again I might have spilt into two different person (one with the head and one without) for some reason after that I went out the room, and came back a while later and see some people I couldn't recognise calling the police and went there to investigate to find my own bloody chopped off head on the ground.... yes... so I chop my own head off by my self, somehow split into the one with the head and the one without one, idk what to label it as but it wasn't some scary spine chilling vivid, it was actually calm.

I've never had a nightmare in my life so it might be possible that I don't know what a nightmare is, it's also impossible to recall why I dreamt this as I've never watched gore, horror movies or anything disturbing for a long time

this is not my only time dreaming gore,
I've also had similar self mutilating dreams

so what could possibly be the meaning of this?

I’ve had many types of dreams one was when I dreamt about a faceless girl and lived a beautiful life with another one was eating raw meat at a park and even satanic dreams (only once it was creepy as hell) and sleep paralysis but Im not quite sure why people dream about different things and why some are more vivid than others

I’d say it was a dream I didn’t get woken up nor did I get scared after I just thought to myself that it was a creepy dream I was basically in a two story house there was a thunderstorm and the whole house was covered with blood there was frames moving upside down and there was these weird looking books with satanic drawings with things written in like Hebrew and upside down crosses all over the house that’s sort of all I can remember all in all weird dream

damn. I wonder why it's always self mutilation and decapitation for me it's like a set default metaphor to use and I'm the one who's always doing the gore and bloods not to anyone but to my self but I'm sure they served a purpose to my mind, thanks
