Getting a 6% raise on January 1st. Meaning that I will be getting another extra ~60 dollars a month for that same 12hours/week slavejob.

Whats your job?

retail, in-person customer support/advice/sales in a physical store, for custom-made higher-end products we sell.

It's quite technical and involves doing a lot of quick calculations on the spot to get a situation on paper with proper technical details, get the right solution and calculate the price for it. I was trained full-time (paid) for 1 month to learn the in and outs.
But once you know those technical details and mastered all the calculating, I guess it's similar to selling floors, kitchens, etc.

It's a bit more autistic than normal retail-sales job because of the quick-calculation and heavy-technical component.
I don't just sell something I don't know anything about, but have to know all the autistic technical details and make the quick calculations to come to the right solution on the spot.

So I am a sales-person that is more of a problem-solving nerd than the smooth-talker type. I see this also with my colleagues, they aren't necessary the smooth-talking salesmen either, but also more of the nerdy type.

That's all I can say, I can't go into details cuz I don't want to dox myself.

Interesting how you can work this for only 12 hours a week. Seem cozy. Based on your desc I'd say you're something like a custom furniture Consultant or something like HVAC.
