My parents caught me stoned off weed and I admitted to them Ive done dxm and cigarettes/nicotine. They dont know shit about drugs understandably as theyre from Asia and very conservative, but they view me as this jesse pinkman ass addict when I just wanted to have a little fun with what I had access to

They even hired a therapist and are seriously considering getting me into rehab any advice on how to proceed with this

So how did they know you were stoned, cause I came to my home many times stoned and my parents didn't know shit.They only found out later when they found a pipe and some some small weed nuggets laying around in the bathroom compartment.

You have to understand where they’re coming from.
Yes some weed is fine, but they are not worried about the little weed, they’re more worried about you developing an addiction long term, and then moving onto more hard drugs.

So, you have to make them feel trusted with you in this regard that you will not be addicted to it. You have to be direct and honest with them, don’t play around or tell them lies. Do not just say it verbally but also demonstrate with some sort of responsibility.

Of course man, I would never disrespect my parents and think im in the right here like some ppl my age would. Rn im just doing things to show im not trying to hide anything anymore like ive voluntarily given up my phone and am getting my grades up, stopped going out with friends atm, in depth discuss my days etc.

The only bad thing is I have told them the entire truth and how it was strictly my idea to start drugs, but obv they want to see the best picture of me and suggested that I was pressured into it instead. Ive said multiple times it was my idea, but they think thats my way of protecting my friends from the authorities or something

Ah that makes sense, its how one of my buddies in highschool got caught senior year. He reeked of weed and had those super stoner looking eyes. The key is to just get those deodorant body sprays and re apply it after getting high , and then again right before you come back home. Eye drops can take care of the stoner look.

You can also go the vape route. Vape pens are pretty easy to hide and the smell is far less likely to stick to your clothes. its also a lot better for the lungs. You can also get a bigger dry herb vaporizer to avoid getting too stoned (otherwise even like 1-2 hits of those waxes would work).

As for the other concern about your parents thinking your Jesse pink man and wanting you to do " rehab" and getting a therapist, you should tell them that is a one time thing and that you friend said it would be a good experience. By placing the blame on a fake friend and you being the " naive " victim they will hopefully let off your ass . Then promise to never do it again.

If they then keep pushing for a therapist, then if you want to vent about other things you can do it . As for rehab just mention that its very expensive and that its not needed cause you will never do it again and make sure to emphasize how its a last resort. You could mention how your grades are still good ( if they are). If they are not then don't bring it up.

Also another thing is if you get some job, even some avg job, they will 100% not be up your ass as much and then you can probably get away with shit like this. Or you can to go college but that's stupid if that is your main reason. You can do weed for free in your home if your smart about it, vs risking a ton of debt for some useless diploma. With AI advancing fast a lot of jobs are gonna disappear so no point getting some degree when those jobs are gonna go.
