It's great to hear that you are doing what it takes to go for the life that you want not only for yourself, but for your son as well! You can do it! It's interesting to hear, however, that you never knew about APA before! All of the essays and papers I do are required to meet APA standards, so I am used to it by now. They teach us this stuff in the first hear. You are very lucky to be able to do it all online and at your own pace. But to be fair I do not trust myself at my own pace. I am much too lazy. I am expected to do a minor as well but next year. This year is supposed to be an entire year of learning in combination with an internship but I already messed that up.

Yeah, I've been going 12+ hours most days. I'm usually a huge slacker but now all I can see is China. I miss the life I've lived for most of my adult life. Living in a different city every year in a country roughly the same size as USA minus Alaska. You can't just do that in USA. Can't just move somewhere if you don't have a job there first.

In China I'd always hop a train to a new city that I wanted to live in, spend a couple nights in a hotel somewhere around the center while finding a nice apartment, then after settling into my new place I'd shoot one of my fixers a message on WeChat asking them to hook me up with some interviews X city. I'd have a new high paying low commitment job within a couple days.

USA's such a bitch. Simply getting an apartment is running a gauntlet. Then the culture there is so shit. I hate USA. Used to be great, but everybody who lives there now is such a fucking prisoner. I'm glad I didn't spend my 20's or early 30's there. I'm glad I never got used to that life. I'd rather live in a concentration camp than ever come to a place where I began to accept that as normal.

I am aware that there are good looking people over there. People in the west think that they are all ugly guys and that we have no competition there but it couldn't be further from the truth. They are just very delusional when it comes to that. I meant have you ever seen or spoken to foreigners who were clearly not from the country? And thanks bhaijan I appreciate that.

yes ik they compare us with indains which is correct but there are some people which look really good.yes i have spoken to foreigners in my country 2 3 times they came into my school.like im from a wealthy family so i go to a really nice school and theres like many different people some are pakistanis some are foreigners who are here temporarily but yea ive talked to them.beauty standards are way too different in pakistan they will prefer white ltns over brown mtns lol i live there i know the beauty standards sooo welll anyways thanks for replying me bhaijan love u

Getting fired from an internship usually happens like this:

1. Problem happens — repeated lateness, missing work, poor performance, inappropriate behavior, etc.
2. Supervisor talks to you — they explain the issue and may give you a warning.
3. You may get a chance to improve — especially if it’s a first-time or minor issue.
4. If it continues or is serious, the supervisor/HR may end the internship.
5. They tell you officially — usually in a meeting or email, and your internship ends on a specified date.

For serious issues, an internship can sometimes be ended immediately without multiple warnings.


Also, being fired from an internship doesn’t automatically ruin your future career.

Dude, that sounds awesome! While I don't see myself living in China, the very fact you were able to just move into the city without having your shit together sounds dope. And to be able to do that in every city. It doesn't work like that in the Netherlands either. There is a housing crisis. Most people want to continue living in Rotterdam but it's nearly impossible to pull that off. Unless you're financially well off but most of the time you will just be settled into a city outside of Rotterdam or some small town. And even if I were to move to a different city like Utrecht or whatever, it would not be easy to pull off. First you need to find a place and be settled and doing that in a big city is hard to pull off. But I like the idea of the life you're living. I don't see myself doing the same though. It helps that your wife is Chinese and that you are white otherwise if you were brown you'd probably be living under a bridge in Michigan or Ohio.

Love you too bhaijan. And I don't really see the connection besides geography. We are genetically distinct after all. Being from a wealthy family helps. How are the foreigners there, do they respect the culture at least? I think they try to westernize people. That said, yep the beauty standards are different. Skin color is the most important thing over there though it depends on where you go. Overall though I think your objective rating counts the most. A white LTN would still have a hard time pulling a wealthier woman, they are superficial and want at least MTN+ of which there is no shortage.

It's because you're looking at screens all day / night. I have the same issue tbh. If I don't fall asleep within 10 minutes I end up scrolling for like another 2 hours. When I'm doing boring and mundane stuff like driving long distances or looking at spreadsheets its so easy to get sleepy.

And yeah it's a masters and it's part time. Tbh my employers are supposed to give me 6 hours off per week. But really, I need around 12 hours altogether so it does eat my lesiruee time.

It's extremely brootal. I was prescribed venzos because I asked for them however I never used them to begin with. I don't want to become dependent on them. I prefer fixing it without taking stuff.

No I did not have a WFH internship, I once had a WFH job years ago but this internship has little to do with it (although indirectly they were both related to education, I was doing an data entry job).

And honestly my sleeping problems are the result of having a messed up circadian rhythm or however you say that. I need to fix that so I can wake up and sleep on time (which is my biggest problem, falling asleep).

Yeah. My insomnia. It was standing in the way of my attendance, I had also missed last week because I had trouble sleeping. The previous times I would pull all-nighters just so I could attend.

I have terrible sleep too man its legit life ruining more than the whole looks thing ngl

Last month i stayed up for 40 hours one night and Dr gave me valium for a week and that fixed things for a bit

Now i take some muscle relaxer most nights and that helps a ton otherwise i stay up until 5 am no matter what i do

Being a NEET for a decade is what causes this. My circadian rhythm is fucked.

I had a 25-26 hr sleep cycle for over a decade but now have a 10pm to 9am sleep schedule. Yes I still need that much sleep, but a lot of the time im just lying in bed awake. I don't need to be uber strict about it, sometimes i go to bed at 10:30, sometimes i wake up at 8am or 9:30am.

bruder have u thought of getting a sleep study and if appropriate getting SARPE.
i got a sleep study, have awful sleep and now due to my 30 yo virgin status am ineligible for MSE and will get SARPE instead.
after sarpe will get septoplasty to reconstruct my nose.
this will fix most sleep issues.
