Idk if it was lack of practice or my weight gain. I am not as good at long distance running as I once used to be. I started off strong but couldn't keep the pace after the 10th mile. And got overtaken by this African. He was trailing behind me but overtook me in the 3rd leg of the race. I met him after the race, he told he is from Gambia and he said he was surprised to see me keeping pace with him for most of the race and that I have great stamina for someone my size with such a massive body. I came in 14th and he came in 6th. The first 5 were all top level athletes wasn't really trying to compete with them. I know I'm not elite level but I thought I would be able to make it to top 10. I dont have it in me no more. Damn... brutal awakening
