It's effective for mild acne, but you need to apply it twice a day every day, otherwise you won't notice any improvement. You could just add it to your current skincare routine if it's working for you. You could also start taking isotretinoin and stop using this routine altogether. It is 20%
My normal routine is this

Night Routine (Alternating A and B)
Night A
Night B
- Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
- Treatment: The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane Face Serum
- Moisturizer: The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
- Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
- Treatment: The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution
- Moisturizer: The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
