apparently he had a heat stroke then had a heart attack. whole family rushing to the hospital to see him and I’m left at home. Literally saw him 3 days ago with our annual visit. It feels so strange because I don’t feel anything, like I’m not worried or anxious, I just hasn’t bothered me at all even though it definitely should.

It's normal. Don't feel like you need to cry or be having a breakdown.

It's very sad but usually with older people we subconsciously prepare for it anyways since they've lived a full life

My grandfather died a year back from blood cancer. Happened in a few days
