The woman at my local fish and chips shop said she was Kurdish despite looking Greek. I expected her to be Greek given how many Greeks live in the area. She was Kurdish.

One is a woman and the other is a man so not an apt comparison. Also, Jews and Greeks were physically indistinguishable and overlapped substantially in genetics. Their modern descendants still do. Makes sense.
