I've lurked here since october 2024, mainly spending time reading old threads and have accumulated a good amount of knowledge, I didn't bother creating an account because 1. i was reading mostly old informational threads so no reason to have the ability to post 2. i thought it would be a hassle having to give a reason to join, wait to be accepted, possibly be rejected etc. I couldn't be bothered making a reason up and also didn't know the acceptance rates or how it worked.

Well it's specifically the young teenagers that are annoying in the first place, it can be hard to have good discussion sometimes if half the users are below the age of 15.
