Seriously, the art by Norman Rockwell. The movies made in that time. Make life seem so easy. You would grow up with many siblings in a decently sized home. You would go to your ethnically homogenous school where you would interact with others who look like you because you all eat the same diet. You would drink raw milk, eat liver, and play with your friends outside with no worries of being assaulted. You would become a teen then, find a cute girl, get married at 18 and have a home after getting a job working for the steel mill. You would then have your own family
