When you're a kid, your parents would tell you to go and play football with the neighbour's kids. You would go out and play football with them. Coincidentally, they would be your schoolmates, so you would be talking about homework and about the cute new girl in your class and how everyone has a crush on her. The year is 2011, and life is simple. Your only worries are the oncoming GCSE's and everyone is having fun, enjoying your youth with friends, and playing games on the PSP while you contemplate on what you'll do once you grow up.

The year is 2022, and you're a shell of your former self. You've resorted to drinking alcohol every few days to cope with being a failure. Your parents have given up on you, and they only care about your younger siblings. You're trying to make new connections with people your age and older but to no avail. They ghost you/ignore you without telling you why. You wonder why they're ignoring you and you keep telling yourself they're too busy with their lives as a cope. You look in the mirror and notice your NW2 hairline and you tell yourself you're not receding, but the truth is that you're losing your hair since men start to lose their hair in their 20's. You wonder what went wrong over the years while you post on looksmax.org.

It's over.

How are you a failure exactly?

No degree, no friends, no job,
Work part time during the day at Tesco or whatever the fuck, go to night school to become a electrician or something similar, take care of yourself (gym etc), make friends, meet people

Transitioning into adulthood is by far the most brutal period of life because it's when you realize how the deciding factors of success in life are the things that you barely have control over

I also got rejected recently from my interviews so I feel you, you just have to keep applying. Sometimes is out of your control. And ppl who ghost are just assholes, be happy you ain’t fucking with them anyways.
Really fucked up part is that everything went well when we met up. If it was a shit experience then i would've fucking accepted it but it wasn't. This is exactly why i have trust issues when it comes to making friends. My brain is full of fucking mental scars at this point.

Yea its rough. I stopped having high expectations awhile back, but meeting up with an old friend that i haven't met in over a decade really made me fucking happy. I guess my emotions got the better of me.
