Fair, but I never thought it to be interesting to go around killing random npcs. Maybe theres another more fun way to play the game. Thats just how i saw my one friend play it

It's not just that. The missions are super well made and the story is also great. You should give it a try for sure.
If not GTA, play rdr2 at least, greatest game oat

My friend would only just drive around and run over every black npc he saw, it looked super boring

The open world in especially GTA 5 is not that good. RDR2's open world is insane. It feels like real life with how immersive it is. You've got to try it
