GTFIH IDEA FOR A WIDER FACE! Suture split for palate expansion then use a palate expander?

I have an idea and I'm not sure why I haven't heard this before. maybe its stupid. can somebody tell me if this is possible?

IF YOUR SUTURE in your skull is closed, then get the suture split surgery that they usually do for some people with a closed suture to get an MSE installed.

The issue with MSE is that we all know it's not cosmetic, it gives you asymmetries, it almost always kinda descends people...

So why don't we just get the suture split surgery, then wear a regular palate expander like what kids wear? We could also wear a DNA appliance, or something else like that... like a homeoblock, anything that expands palate (NOT A MARPE or MSE or FME though).

A regular palate expander or any other kind of expander makes no difference in aesthetics. What makes people think it's any different?
