On Photofeeler, I ran a mog battle. This mog battle was to see if young men would be perceived as less attractive as a result of their ethnicity/phenotype.
My hypothesis for this experiment was the following:
"White men, especially those with Mediterranean features, or ethnic men who are close to having Mediterranean looks, would be given the highest attractiveness ratings by females."
The reason for this hypothesis is because it is a known fact that women are much pickier than men when it comes to ethnicity while dating, often preferring to almost exclusively date white men or Hispanic men who come close to looking "white" as possible. This applies to most women regardless of ethnicity. It is also assumed that most women who use Photofeeler are white women. This particular demographic is known for their strong preference towards Mediterreanean dark looks. Dark enough to satisfy "tall, dark and handsome" but without any obvious ethnic features (save for fuller lips and tanned skin, which seem to be the only stereotypically "ethnic" traits most women seem to like.)
To ensure the test is fair, a few variables must be controlled:
The ethnicities used are the following:
East Asian
Sub-Saharan African:
Hispanic (Mestizo):
South Indian:
Northern European:
MENA/Central Asian:
Northern Indian:
Southern European (Mediterranean):
I will not provide the photograph since my friend is the subject and wishes to keep his identity private. However, I will describe roughly what he looks like and the photograph's composition:
Results:
Here are the results that came back. Overall, not too surprising, tbh:
East Asian
Sub-Saharan African:
Hispanic (Mestizo):
Southern Indian:
Northern European:
MENA/Central Asian:

Mediterranean/Southern European:

To ensure the test is fair, a few variables must be controlled:
- All subjects in the mog battle are around 5.5 PSL,
- No selfies are to be used,
- Each photograph is of similar quality,
- All subjects are male and in their early 20s,
- Voting is restricted to females,
- Each subject gets 30 votes. Nothing more, nothing less.

East Asian
Sub-Saharan African:
Hispanic (Mestizo):
South Indian:
Northern European:
MENA/Central Asian:

- Well-groomed, clean appearance
- No facial hair
- Slicked back wavy hair
- Brown hair
- Brown eyes
- Tanned
- Prominent jaw
- No hunter eyes
- Near perfect ratios
- NW1
- Early 20s
- Wearing a dark jacket
- Photograph was taken during golden hour
- Photograph was taken in a forest
- Subject was looking into the camera
- Only his upper body was in the frame
