I don't htink it's that sinister. there's definitely an incentive for ocmpanies to push this shit though. for a long time cosmetics were women only if they can get the male market as well they'd be rolling in dough. srs. bb creams, fancy shampoos, hair loss meds, etc. Keeps & Hims sprung up out of nowhere overnight basically and upcharge generic meds at 10000000x. there's money to be made is all.
