They're meant for entirely different purposes.

Gua-sha helps with lymphatic drainage.

Derma-rolling is to stimulate collagen production or to help with hair (usually paired up with minox).

If you have mild acne-scarring then you could try it out, yeah.

And if you want to grow hair pairing it with topical minox would be beneficial.
