I was replying to @fedecope in a recent thread I posted but wanted to make a full guide for improving social skills as a high inhib NDcell, or just straight up socially inept weirdo.

IQ Coping Superiority Complex:
If you are an autist or whatever then avoid viewing yourself as a high IQ outcast amongst a lake of NT normies, you are probably nothing special and even if it is true, it will just make you never fit in when you constantly believe “I don’t fit in.” Just put that shit aside.
You can be smart and understand the world without cope but have good social skills.

If you are still young, the best thing you can do is a form of exposure therapy. This is the only non-cope, non-pharmaceutical way to improve your social skills and charisma pernamently. Of course it will take a while and not be instant, but as you are still young and developing, you don’t want to be 18 and a weirdo who can’t talk normally without alcohol, because then it will be much more difficult to fix your life.

So how can you engage in exposure therapy?
Find a job, club, or volunteering role (if too young to work) that involves interacting with many different members of society. This will allow you to slowly start understanding social rules and you will subconsciously begin adapting your mannerism/way of speaking based on the age group, gender, social status etc.

You should also focus on talking to young girls your age, preferably attractive ones. Do not talk to them with the aim of romance and genuinely only try to befriend them. Studies have shown that men who grew up with a sister in their household tend t have better social skills with girls. Befriending women and maintaining some sort of long term “friendship” at this age will significantly benefit you later on in your life.

Work a job such as a waiter, cashier or maybe in a pharmacy. Volunteer in a local community centre such as a church or maybe a foodbank.
Aim to attend your chosen role once a week to create routine. Each year you should have done at least 120 hours. If you work a job, of course you must aim for much longer.

Optional Extra: Attend a sport club such as a basketball club or martial arts.

To stop being a weirdo, follow trends and listen in on other people’s conversations with the goal of understanding their ineterests such as a TV show. Force yourself to watch a few bullshit shiws and try to understand them or just briefly skim through the Wikipedia page. Start conversations based on these fake interests. Start adopting some of the body language you see of these actors in these shows, all NT people do this. This is why main character syndrome exists.

I do agree with some things you point out however it does feel like lying to yourself.
I have a post on something related made just now where I talk about how I think living truthfully is the only
way not to be sad.

But yeah , good advice just for social integration
