Tempo

this is your temporalis muscle

this muscle is attached to the zygos and mandible as well as bunch of other bones, and can indirectly affect the maxilla.

how to bias the temporalis muscle -

clench lightly using your back molars in short pulses. place your thumb on your masseter and your index finger on your temple. feel the contraction in the temporalis as you bite down. this ensures proper activation.

Jaw massage temporalis gentle rub

how it works -
by using the maxilla as a leverage you will be pulling the sphenoid and cranial base downwards with the temporalis, resulting in an internal rotation!

extra benefits -
training the temporalis can

tmj relief and stability
increased upper face width through hypertrophy
more defined zygomatic region
subtle midface forward pull (speculative)
stronger bite + mandible growth

just consciously chew on your weaker side from now on, and do proper tounge posture - make sure your tongue is not skewed to the dominant chewing side
