Why You Should Care
Tanning = instant appeal
Makes your jawline pop hides acne evens out your skin tone, and gives that healthy “outdoors” look even if you’re just terminally online like the rest of us.
The trick is doing it year-round without looking orange or fake.
WINTER ROUTINE (Low UV Season)
Goal: Maintain a subtle glow, avoid looking ghostly.
Products:
Tanning sunscreen (SPF 30+ with bronzing or gradual tan formula)
Moisturizer (fragrance-free)
Exfoliator (2–3x a week)
Routine:
1. Morning — Apply tanning sunscreen instead of your regular SPF.
Look for one that gradually builds color (Bondi Sands Everyday, Tan-Luxe SPF, etc.)
2. Night — Moisturize. Keeps skin smooth so tan fades evenly.
3. Twice a week — Exfoliate gently. This prevents patchy buildup.
Pro tip: Less is more. You’re not trying to look like you came back from Ibiza mid-January.
You just want to look alive. Like a guy who actually goes outside sometimes.
SUMMER ROUTINE (High UV Season)
Goal: Boost natural tan and keep it even.
Products:
Regular sunscreen (SPF 50, broad spectrum)
Tan drops (Dior, Isle of Paradise, or any good DHA-based formula)
Moisturizer or aloe base
Routine:
1. Mix 2–4 tan drops into your moisturizer at night.
Apply evenly over face and neck (wash hands right after).
2. During the day, keep SPF 50 on. Real sunlight + DHA drops = god-tier glow.
3. Hydrate like crazy. Tanned skin looks like trash if it’s dry.
Optional: Lightly exfoliate every few days to keep color even.
You can bump up to 5–6 drops if your skin tone’s darker.
RESULTS
After 1–2 weeks, you’ll have a consistent glow all year.
No more “summer vs. winter version” of yourself.
Girls legit notice it — you look healthier, more defined, and less washed-out.
MY THOUGHTS
Tanning is one of the easiest looksmaxxing moves out there.
Costs like $20–30, takes 5 minutes a day, and makes your face pop in every lighting.
Just don’t overdo it. Subtle = natural. Orange = clown.
TL;DR
Winter → tanning sunscreen daily
Summer → tan drops + SPF
Exfoliate + moisturize or you’ll look patchy
Stay consistent = year-round glow
I dont have pictures but i did this in summer and it really helped me.
