first off this thread is only for those wanting to improve their writing.
if u dont want to, its fine, dont bother spamming like a massive loser in this thread.
i will tell u what im going to cover
and what im not going to cover
topics to be covered
- what makes a good post/thread
- what makes a post truly "urs"
- how to avoid being another .org phag
topics which ARE NOT going to be covered
- how to plagiarise content
- what to copy paste
- how to get over ur oneitis
so what makes a good post/thread?
the essence of a good quality post is the unique perspective it adds to the thread.
to explain this, let me give u guys a vague example.
say u r to make a thread about seeing a hot girl.
dont just blatantly make a thread saying "haha look hot girl". no, u shouldnt do that.
u must understand, what makes this thread uniquely mine? why would people genuinely look into this thread.
and to answer that, be honest. found her on tiktok? say it. saw her in a tv show? "rate this chick who i paused the tv show for".
be elaborate. of course people know u have the hots for the chick, but how and why exactly? u have to jot that down.
u need to add UR perspective to the the thread/post u make.
now that we know that u need to add ur perspective,
what makes a post truly URS?
lets look at this in a simple way. what makes "You" you?
you as slayer69, or you as Crisick, or you as RR2XCUP?
exactly, its your unique life. ur very own life. add some of ur life elements to it. add ur character to it.
how do u act irl? show that in ur posts.
lets say u r a very massive book reader, in that previous example, u would post the thread like "this chick would even make nabokov rewrite lolita"
great.
now how do you avoid being another .org Phag?
Just simply interact with others' threads. Show ur POV so that u build a real difference and learn how u r different from others and u actually get to doing that.
writing is not something u get right overnight but it takes some time.
and please for heaven's sake, do a wide range of posting, and interact with all kinds of threads.
thats it for today
