been playing for almost a year and id consider myself intermediate. chords/barrechords are second nature and id consider my rythym to be good, and i can learn an average solo in a sitting or two.
my friends wanted me as their guitarist (theyre bassist and drummer) and set up our first band practice recently. im real scared ill get mogged to death by them tbh. ive seen dozens of videos where a band is performing and one player is clearly far less competent than the rest, its real embarrassing and id hate for that to be me. i also have bad performance anxiety to the point where i can only play well if my amp is on the lowest setting and im sure noone can hear me in the case i fuck up
is there anything i can do to overcome dis b4 next week? i dead might ghost them on the day of if i dont feel prepared jfl
