Never heard of anything like that. Theoretically if you metabolize it too fast (CYP2A6 fast metabolizer) you could maybe have very quick and slight effects, with only the mind effects of Nicotines metabolite Conitine having some effects

Or you could just already be feeling so good that you dont notice the effects
