Yes, it was the TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan). They have done it as a revenge for Pakistan state officials allying with the United States and being a part of the War of Terrorism (not War on Terrorism). The TTP claim they do not attack civilians but rather those who work for the Pakistani state; so army members and police officers are fair game to them. The particular mosque is situated in a police scheme; meaning people living in that neighborhood are police officers. Among the dead were 38 cops (out of 59 dead).
