Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is one of the few diseases with no cure and a 100% fatality rate. It is the human equivilant of Mad Cow disease and 70% of people with it die within a year. Nobody has lived past 2.5 years after the symptoms set in.

I think that happened when they sourced HGH from cadavers that were infected back in the 80s or 90s. Not sure this still happens though. you can get it from tainted medical equipment though.
