I don’t possess traits that are necessary for a teacher. Being a dominant, authority figure is necessary, being strict, etc. I’m the opposite of these things. Students don’t pay attention? Whatever. But a competent teacher demands respect, and gets it. And I can’t be like that, unfortunately.

Are you doing it right now? Damn, that’s crazy. If you’re in the States, it can be a high-paying job (in California and New York), or a low-paying job (in Mississippi). You should try making them work more independently so that you can save your voice.

I don't work in the states. I don't leave them with homework either, I'm against homework. Studying should be just that, studying and proving you know stuff. How we adquire knowledge, is the method of teaching. If the students don't understand I feel bad about myself. So I try to be as clear as possible with what I'm saying and not give useless or extra info.

90% times they do. Some classrooms are shit though and I have to get them out of the class or discuss with them a bit until they stay in silence. Anyway it's a shit job because you have to deal with people and don't recommend to anyone. Teachers should only be men and women over 30 who are extroverted and have strong character. What matters most is a stable income. Though your line of work is also considered important sometimes. And your social standing is important, too. You can’t really get a middle class woman if you’re a lower class man. But a high class man can get a lower and middle class woman, though that doesn’t happen, they typically go for high class women and they see themselves as better, as an elite group of people. Very westernized, too. While looks isn’t necessarily a priority, it’s become increasingly important as well. I met a guy who was unable to get married and he was depressed about it. He wasn’t exactly ugly, but he was definitely unattractive. Had a big nose, too. Even the families in the neighborhood would reject him. Apparently, he got rejected for being from the same, lower income neighborhood as them but I think that was just a lie. They probably thought he was ugly.
