Does anyone do a leg day without a freeweight squat and still see good progress? And if so what exercises do you do

hack squat or pendlay squat. not a fan of leg press

also Leg ext, seated leg curl, lying leg curl, hip thrusts, adductors, calve machine.

You can also mix in some squat or SLDL, just account for the quads and glutes volume.
So it would be for example, 2x squat, 1x leg ext, 1x lying leg curl, 1x seated leg curl, 1x hip thrust, 1x adductor, 2x calves [9 sets total].
Or 2x squat, 1x SLDL, 1x leg ext, 1x seated leg curl, 1x adductors, 2x calves [8 sets total].
