I've been working out for 9 months, noticed a lot of gains in these first 6 months, i was doing ppl 3 times a week and then i switched to 5 times a week in july, i have seen some gains since then but not much. especially in the last month i have hardly noticed much progress in strength and in how big i am. I don't know what im doing wrong and would need some help, my diet is good and i am trying to bulk at this moment due to it being winter.

Try this split instead of ppl bhai

sounds like you have hit a plateau. Change in split would def put you back in. In most cases you should run a split for 3-4 months then change it up.

thank you! does this mean i can switch back to pplpp after this? or should i try ppl x ul after 3-4 months

You could switch back yes, but i would try out ppl x ul after the time period.
PPL is not that great of a split but it is really enjoyable to train.

yeah, thats the point i just havent been enjoying the gym recently, maybe thats why im not making as much gains but i think this change should bring a bit more fun for a while

Yeah i agree. The pumps on upper lower are freaking insane it's really enjoyable. Also hitting upper 3x a week is really fun. I saw more progress with the upper lower split in 6 months than i did on 12 months of ppl not kidding

i thought 2 sets and 6 reps is for like strength gain tho, im aiming for hypotrophy. and i was told by my gymcell friend to do 8-10, but tbf i do enjoy doing 6 reps more as i feel more burnt out rather than reducing the weight

Watch the graph at the bottom.

First few reps are just fatique with minimal motor unit recruitment. the last 5-6 reps activates full motor unit recruitment and with good stability = most optimal reps.

I just cut the bs and jumped straight to the important reps so that you dont fry your CNS

do you reccomend taking any supplements/peptides or anything of that sort, currently im like 15 and i'm thinking about aromatase inhibitor because of heightmaxxing aswell due to only being 5"8.
