This is fine for like a week to get a feel for the machines and get unused muscles warmed up but if you do this for a meaningful amount of time you'll waste a lot of gainswhen you begin in the gym
Learn the machines
Learn how much you can lift without training, write a list of how much weight, sets, reps of each machine you can do in notes app (Don’t overdo it, start at a very low weight)
I highly recommend bringing a friend or family member who is farmiliar with the machines to show you because then you can learn the form well
If you can’t do that I recommend getting a personal trainer just for the first few times to show you how to do the machines
