Everyone knows you can't have some absurd level of mass natty, but you can be both lean and way more muscular than someone who isn't lifting. But of course, if you believe that nobody that looks impressive can be natty, based on your own subjective results in the gym, then there's nothing I can tell you to change your mind.

Yes, low bodyfat is important. But that has nothing to do with weight lifting, and everything to do with caloric deficit.
You will never be low body fat all of the time with body lifting
because you will have to at least do a lean bulk, you won't be able to build muscle under a caloric deficit
unless you are a beginner

There is no reason to believe Sean, well into his thirties, will ever reclaim the physique he had at his peak test levels at around 20 years old. His natural test production is lower now than it was 15 years ago.

I'm not sure where you see me claiming anything about any concrete timeline - I see he looks of similar size 12 years ago to now.

[3] I'm not making absurd, absolutist statements about what any given person can achieve per year in lb in a set amount of time. Generally speaking, 3 years of consistent lifting will get you your peak physique. Most people are far from consistent for 3 years, in fact most people go on and off, aren't lifting properly, get injured - most people never even get close to training for 3 years consistently.

Thats not the point ahh, you forget that going to the gym requires big dedication, discipline, and most importantly very strict diet, you need to hit the exact calories every single day and macros especially protein too, even though on many days you simply don't feel like it. Gumcels need to always be worried about proper sleep, strict diet, proper training just to technically look better in 3 years, ofcourse you always look better with more muscles, but at what costs? Treating food like fuel and jot enjoying yourself and eating what your heart desires?

I've been gymcelling for 5 years now. What you don't understand is that you think that you get more net pleasure each day out of the food you eat that I do, thats not how it works. After a while you get accustomed to the healthy foods and they become the equivalent of the unhealthy food you had before. To me now, a salmon probably tastes like your burger, apple slices with peanut butter tastes like your potato chips, protein shake tastes like your oreo mcflurry. It doesn't take me any effort at all to eat clean now, maybe it did in the first 6 months I was getting into it.

You dont need to count exact calories, you get an idea of how much food you need to eat to gain and loose weight if you weigh yourself every morning.

There are so many more reasons why you should be getting 8 hours of sleep than gymcelling, its the biggest healthmax in the planet and makes you feel better throughout the entire day.

Not to mention a healthy and active lifestyle will make every day more enjoyable because it makes your brain secrete more feel-good chemicals.
