*providing you're not obese or a literal twig
*even more true the older you get after 25
I must have done 200+ gym workouts over the last 3 years. Hundreds of hours exercising. Not to mention the time spent planning meals, getting extra protein etc. It did very very little for me. The confidence it gave me was shallow. In fact, it just made me more insecure, looks obsessed and neurotic about my aesthetics.
If I had put those hundreds of hours into learning a skill, having an extra good income, I would have been able to travel, been able to meet different people- hell, been able to get surgeries like vaser liposuction that would do far more for me than gym. Not to mention the confidence as a MAN I'd get from mastering a skill, being valuable around the world at something.
Digest this: The most powerful men in history were not the biggest, most muscular. In fact, many (most) big, muscular men in history were relegated to the role of serf, slave, labourer, soldier (Who died young), guard etc.
The men with the most vision, the most ruthless and bloodthirsty men, were the ones with the power
Gym is an utter fucking waste of time, unless you are a literal twig, or literally obese- even if you're fat, diet is 5x more important.
Even 1 hour working on my finances gives me 10x the happiness of a weights session.
I'm not scheduling a gym session ever again. I will merely go when I can be fucked
