Doin FBEOD
all my exercises y do it only 1 set with high intensity should I go 2 sets?
Pls be serious responding to this

FBEOD is too much

lifting isn't that hard don't overcomplicate it just hit every muscle group 2-3x a week and progressively overload. frequency>volume. look up how to make your own program I recommend this vid he gets some stuff wrong but his ideas are right.

Yh that's why I do it 3x freq for every muscle

nothing inherently wrong with it but doing 2 sets of 1-2 different exercises for each muscle group seems like a long gym session to me. If it works for you that's what matters and stick to that.

Im only at the gym for like an hour and a half you just need to program it and you'll be fine

I think you’re just trying to create arguments on purpose. Keep your opinions to yourself. I have been nothing but respectful.

Well then I would assume you're programing it incorrectly. You want 8-10 exercises per muscle group each week. If you were to hit chest, back, legs, triceps, biceps and shoulders all in one day (still excluding 2 major muscle groups), that would be 12 exercises with 1-2 sets each, which would be completely fatiguing by the end and you would perform significantly worse for the last few exercises. Rather, if you formatted your split as a Squat Push, Deadlift Pull, and Hypertrophy day, you would hit each muscle group twice a week, which kind of misses the whole point of "optimization." Again, do what you want but I would recommend looking into what a good split needs before devoting to anything.

1 set a day is dumb.

You’ll fuck up a set 1/3 of the time.

Do 3 sets 2x a week per muscle group. For stuff like calves, side delts (lateral raises) and lats (I can do them every other day with no real issue) hit them 3-4x a week.

It won’t fuck with your recovery, those aren’t huge muscles.
