I wanna get into the gym to get better at basketball (get stronger preferably.) I’m 14, been scraping this forum since 2023 so i know a bit of stuff mainly for the face.
I recently have picked up going to the gym (1 hour, twice a week) i would go more but i’m really going and just hitting arms shoulders and chest, all i know are curls, chest press, shoulder press and bench, i see people deadlifting and stuff but i don’t wanna try it since i’m skinny and don’t wanna be embarrassed.
I’m not gonna hop on gear yet because i know that my hormones around this age are crazy nor am i interested in hopping on before 6ft incase they close my growth plates.
Now actually at the point, does anybody know how to get more into the gym, how to actually grow, gain muscle mass, learn new and proper workouts, and put on weight. I’ve tried to do my research but nothing works, i cant even get fat while eating roughly 2,000-2,400 calories a day im 170cm so it shouldn’t be too hard to put on some visible growth.
