My benchpress is a big time joke rn should I strengthen arms with dumbbell and lat first? @gymcelalpha
 
Your benchpress is a joke so you want to stop benchpressing and never imrpove it?

I would think less of him tbh. Especially if he is a lanky smug twink. Tries to mog, but can't even bench two plates? it's pretty ridiculous.

what makes u think he'd be trying to mog in the gym, dude is talking about making as small of a footprint as he can in the gym and going when other people arent there

it all comes back to doing it more often. the best way to build up your wrists and grip for lifting is to use them for lifting

benching is easy just get under the bar put your hands somewhere near the rings (usually works for most) try to get your legs up high to get an arch. Depress your shoulders keep your elbows tucked in when going down , then explode to get it up with your energy starting from the legs thats what leg drive is for
 
Nope, just keep practicing bench and the strength will come. Its all about repetition.
